Not many of us can say we’ve had a life-changing moment while making a sandwich, but Stasher founder Kat Nouri can. As a mom of three, Kat had been making school lunches for years, and every time she packed her kids’ sandwiches in disposable plastic bags, she thought, ‘There’s got to be a better way.’ Concerned about the safety of using plastic around her young family, and also the environmental impact of wasting so much plastic, she decided to come up with a better solution herself. And so, Kat created Stasher bags - self-sealing, air-tight, reusable storage bags made of pure platinum silicone. Since silicone is recyclable and food-safe, it just makes sense to use it for children’s feeding products. Since its debut in 2016, Stasher has won numerous awards, including the prestigious Global Innovation Award and the design industry’s Red Dot award.
