In 2010, when Solly Founder Elle Rowley was expecting her second child, Solomon, she took to her sewing machine and experimented with making her own baby wraps. She quickly fell in love with wearing Solomon in one is as it was so lightweight and comfortable. Elle continued to tweak the fabric and design until she’d perfected it and soon friends started commenting on it and requesting a wrap of their own. Now, Solly Baby’s signature line of durable, lightweight and stretchy wraps has earned a (well-deserved) cult following. Totally American-made, Solly Baby is a family business that runs out of Rowley’s family home in San Diego. Solly Baby recognizes its responsibilities to mothers around the world, and regularly contributes to Every Mother Counts, Christy Turlington Burns’s charity supporting maternal health in the third world.
