Handcrafted in Vancouver, Canada, Glitter and Spice’s range of silicone teething necklaces were born out of founder Lorene Mah’s frustration with her son’s teething experience. Since her firstborn had never had any problems teething, Mah was unprepared for the sleepless nights, crying and tantrums that went hand-in-hand with her son’s experience. After scouring stores for a suitable solution, Mah was disappointed with the products on offer, and decided to make her own. Made of 100 per cent food grade silicone (that’s free of BPA, phthalates, lead and PVC), all Glitter and Spice necklaces are loved by teething tots (and their parents!) and perhaps best of all, are easily washable with soap and water.
