In 2003, Claire Ekelund was expecting her second child when a friend gifted her a nursing cover. While touched by the kind gesture, Claire found the cover to be impractical and not to her style, so she embarked on making her own. Very quickly, friends and strangers were enquiring as to how they could get their hands on one of her gorgeous covers. A year later, Claire and her husband Ronnie launched ‘Bebe Au Lait’ with one thing in mind: to create nursing covers that are both functional and beautiful. Their goal, to make parenting just that little bit easier, has well and truly been met. Now, the company also makes nursing pillows, burp cloths, bedding and swaddles, amongst other things.
