Created by Stacey Fraser in Amagansett, New York after taking a break from corporate life and finding her footing as a new mother, Pink Chicken is a clothing line with items that go from beach to barbecue and park to playdate with a day-into-dinner kind of ease. In the beginning, Stacey would use her daughter’s nap time to sew clothes from the fabrics she’d collected over the years, which included bright block prints, Indian cottons, American vintage, all of them so perfectly mismatched. As she whipped up sundresses for her daughters and tunics for herself, Pink Chicken got the passion and creativity it needed to become the brand it is today.
