Former ballet dancer and current surfing enthusiast, Polish-born designer Marysia Dobrzanska Reeves is the woman behind luxury swimwear brand Marysia. Launched in 2009, the line elevates swimwear to something akin to couture – there are no trendy prints or basic cuts at Marysia, but instead, perfectly executed silhouettes in premium custom fabrics that allow for stretch and comfort, while also looking beautiful. Having spent most of her life in either a ballet leotard or a wetsuit, Marysia knows a thing or two about creating luxurious, comfortable and durable swimwear – techniques and values she’s since brought to her junior line, Bumby. Marysia has been featured in magazines like Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar and is sold at more than 100 retailers all over the world.
