Influenced by Scandinavian simplicity and excellent quality, combined with the Armenian embroidery culture, the rich needlepoint is distinguished by the detailed craftsmanship and interesting design, endowed with the symbolism of well-being and prosperity. Employing Armenian women and Syrian Armenian refugees skilled in embroidery, Mairik’s aim is to preserve their way of life and teach the next generation this ancient and beautiful craft.
