Tot Love and Levi’s

To celebrate 50 years of the iconic Levi’s Trucker Jacket, Levi’s has collaborated with The Tot and LA multimedia artist, Alex Israel, to produce a line of extremely limited edition one of a kind baby and toddler denim jackets that embody the brand’s classic Americana style and today’s pop culture.

When it comes to collaborating, kids fashion is often overlooked when it comes to large brand partnerships. However, that’s all changing thanks to The Tot Founder, Nasiba Adilova.

Nasiba has pioneered fashion friendships with designers like Mary Katrantzou and Oscar de la Renta. Since forging creative relationships with respected brands is what she does best, it’s no surprise that Levi’s chose The Tot as their only kids collaboration to highlight the enormous success of Levi’s Original Trucker Jacket over the past fifty years.

Levi’s original trucker jacket has added edge to any style and has become synonymous with Americana culture. To celebrate the 50th anniversary, Levi’s and The Tot put their minds together to produce a limited edition of baby and kids trucker jackets featuring art-pop patches and hand-drawn art that are as timeless as they are original. With quotes like, “Come together” and, “Love and Levi’s,” these jackets are conversation starters and indeed works of art. With fewer than 90 available, they’re all unique and the foundation for the next generation of Levi’s lovers.

Wanting to take the partnership a step further, Nasiba asked her friend and digital multimedia artist Alex Israel, to design 20 artist edition jackets with 100% of the proceeds going to TWO x TWO for AIDS and Art benefiting amfAR’s TREAT Asia Pediatric Program as well as the Dallas Museum of Art, which offers early childhood programming year-round.

“Levi’s is one of America’s most iconic brands that’s as relevant today as it was when it was first founded over 160 years ago. As soon as this collaboration presented itself I thought of Alex Israel. He is a hugely talented artist with a big social conscience. Together we hope to raise as much money as possible for Pediatric Aids research initiatives as well as early childhood programming at the Dallas Museum of Art.” – Nasiba Adilova

Alex Israel, who is known for exploring pop art, the cult of celebrity and the realities of Hollywood, created and produced smiling avocado chenille patches on the back of twenty jackets. Each Levi’s Alex Israel jacket is hand-signed by the artist, includes the edition number and retails for $1,000.

“I love Nasiba, I love Levi’s, I love Two x Two and I love avocados, so everything just came together perfectly.” – Alex Israel

With the goal of bringing stylish, safe and ethical fashion to babies, kids and mamas around the world, The Tot, thrives on finding like minded brands and businesses that want to work together to create mindfully curated products and couldn’t be more proud of their recent Levi’s collaboration.
