Nasiba Adilova’s Favorite Organic Baby Products
The Tot co-founder and Mama of Three, Nasiba Adilova, tells us about 10 organic baby products that she just can’t live without.
Finding truly organic products is getting increasingly difficult with the rise of greenwashing, which is why we take great care when researching and choosing products for The Tot. We want to know where things came from, how they were made, who made them and how they’re going to affect not only our health, but also the environment.
Choosing organic means choosing resources directly from the earth and keeping them free of harmful chemicals and damaging production processes. The reason this is so important, especially when children are young, is because immature immune systems are more susceptible to the toxins than an adult’s. Since babies explore the world with their mouths, they are streamlining dyes, finishes and other materials straight into their bodies. In an effort to live my life as toxin-free as possible, I’ve searched high and low and found the following 10 fabulous organic baby products that I can’t live without.
My must-have organic baby products:

The brainchild of former fashion industry staffer Amy Koenigsberger and designer Stacey Effman – both mamas themselves – 12|12 is the result of the women’s desire to find stylish, organic and modern clothing for their babies who had severe allergies and sensitive skin. Every detail on these organic footed bodysuits has lovingly been labored over. Even the snaps are thoughtfully color coordinated where the legs meet, to make middle-of-the-night diaper changes exhausted-parent-proof.
