Introducing: The Tot Baby Registry!
Have you attempted to make your baby registry, but paused because you truly don’t know what you’re going to actually need? Don’t worry – we’ve been there too! Not knowing what to register for is more common than you think, which is why we’ve created the new Tot Baby Registry.
Finding out what you need for yourself and your newborn is trial and error. Fortunately, we are all parents ourselves and have spoken to a lot of moms and dads about what they wish they had registered for and what they wish they had gone without. After nearly a year of research, we’re excited to launch the new Tot Baby Registry – an online registry system designed to help you and your friends and/ or family members find the best products to help you and your little ones live your best lives (and get as much sleep as possible!)
Because there are so many different parenting styles out there, we’ve put a lot of focus and thought into catering for a range of needs and wants by creating multiple Starter Registry lists. The Tot’s Starter Registries are tailored to include the products we know and swear by to help get you started, no matter your style or budget. From Gender Neutral to Newborn Essentials to Luxury Registries, we’ve searched high and low for the items guaranteed to make life with a new baby a breeze.
If you’re stuck for space, you’re probably going to take the minimalist route and find a list with a crib designed specifically for urban life or a highchair engineered to grow with your child into adulthood! If you’re planning for multiples, you may want to know what to double up on as well as discover what miracle items can cover all the bases! If you’re trying to minimize your carbon footprint, you should check out some of our favorite brands who are pioneering the way for cloth diapers and biodegradable items like teethers.
Because we’re also mindful that family budgets vary and that sometimes you don’t want to register for big-ticket items, we’ve also focused on curating lists that won’t break the bank, but will give you everything you need on the road to parenthood.
We also have a new Featured Registries section where you can view a selection of our favorite mama’s registries, like The Tot Founder, Nasiba Adilova’s or Actress and Author, Tia Mowry’s. You can also see what they wish they had had during those first few months! (Let’s be honest – hindsight is always 20/20 and these mamas aren’t afraid to admit it.) These women are incredible mothers and are thrilled to share what items made transitioning to #momlife easier (and more stylish!)
Worried about privacy? That’s totally fine. You can make your registry public for the world to see or set it to private and have it hidden from search. If you choose the latter, you can simply share the URL and password with specific friends and family.
One of the features we’re really excited about is Gift Tracking. This allows you to see who purchased what and on what date. You can also receive email alerts when something is purchased from your registry and view a countdown ticker on your dashboard. You’re going to extra love this during your nesting phase.
If you’re someone that likes to speak to a human, we still have The Tot Concierge at your service for in-store or over the phone consultations. This allows you to be hands on with creating your own registry or assisting your friend or family member who’s making it for you. With the industry constantly changing, it can be so helpful having someone guide you and explain the ins and outs of bottle nipples, post-partum feeding tanks, crib mattress safety standards and which stroller you’re going to truly love!
Currently, the platform is only available in the US, but we are hard at work rolling out an international platform due to high demand.
