As the leaves begin to change and the mercury starts to drop, The Tot Founder and mother of two, Nasiba Adilova, shares her picks for autumn’s mini fashionistas.

Dressing kids might be my new favorite thing. Getting to see the joy on their little faces as I help them choose statement pieces, introduce them to shoes they can slip on all by themselves and teach them the ABC’s of accessories makes me feel all the feels. I especially love watching kids make their own wardrobe choices. Their personalities really get to shine through their selections and it also gives them a sense of individuality and confidence in their ability to make they own decisions.

With a new season upon us, I’ve put together six looks for your little ones. Whether they’re off to a wedding, birthday party or looking for a funky and relaxed outfit for running errands around town, the brands we love have something for everyone.

Look 1- Perfectly Playful

Simple, sweet and just the right amount of sophisticated, this perfectly playful pastel look can be accomplished by pairing the Hilda Henri Harlekin Blouse with their 100% new wool Melody Skirt. Moque’s Kelly Bow Boots bring a bit of fun south of the knees and make this bright and cheery look just what fall needs.

Look 2 – Practically “Pear-fect” in Every Way

Famous around the world for their animal and food inspired pieces, Oeuf’s fall/ winter collection does not disappoint. Made of soft cotton, the Oeuf Ruffle Collar Blouse will make the pears on the Oeuf Suspender Skirt extra juicy. To keep little feet warm and cute, I’ve picked the Donsje Amsterdam’s Pina Exclusive Lining Bootie because it has metallic flecks that make this outfit out of this world cute.

Look 3 – Too Cool, Too Cute

Camel, floral and grey jersey join forces to make this outfit effortlessly cool. Bonton’s “Too Cool After School” sweater complements the Bonton Flower Printed skirt, while Donsje Amsterdam’s Lion Boot make this look really stand out in the crowd. Perfect for strutting through an airport or hanging out after school with friends. Oeuf’s Rainbow Unicorn mittens add a touch more fun to this already playful outfit.

Look 4 – Punk Rock Princess

Girls with edge will love this subtle punk rock look. Búho’s Ballerina mesh skirt culottes have black mesh tulle over a practical pale pink culotte that makes the contrasting sleeves and hood on the DL 1961 Manning Toddler Jacket really pop, while Veja’s V 12 shoe provide the ultimate comfort and style. Throw in a pair of Petite Hailey Pom Pom tights to complete the look.

Look 5 – Keeping it cool and casual

No strangers to making any look seem effortless, Búho has done it again with their Pierrot Bi Color Sweater and Alex Button Pant. Made from a soft wool blend, the Pierrot Bi Color Sweater has contrasting elbow pads as well as a black lined hem and neckline that provide that bit of extra. Complete the look with Veja’s Esplar Mid Fured Shoe. Top the ensemble off with Oeuf’s super cute and soft blue and white striped apple hat for a cool, laid back look.

Look 6 – Prepped and Ready To Go

Fall-Look-6

For a more smart but casual look that provides the comfort and functionality needed by today’s kids, try pairing the Cristian Melange Fleece Sweater by Buho with their Sol Cotton Leggings. The Veja Esplar Small Velcro Shoe and the cool Camo Mini Kane Backpack by STATE Bags make the look even cuter!
