Created by artist and designer Molly Goodall in 2010, Little Goodall was borne of Goodall’s frustration with her two-year-old’s refusal to wear the hoods in his coats. Looking for a solution that would be both practical and stylish, the designer (who has a background in childrenswear, toy design, and fine art) designed the original Ferocious Felt Lion coat to help inspire him to put his hood up in the cold. When her friends commented and began placing orders, Little Goodall was born! Molly is also the author of the creative sewing book Wild Things to Sew and Wear, published in 2014.
Made in the USA, the Little Goodall Lion Coat is a beautiful handmade felt coat that make staying warm super fun. Lined in 100% organic cotton sherpa, this storybook-worthy design is topped with a ferocious lion’s mane and finished with sweet claws and a tail. Unbutton the hood and un-Velcro the tail, and you’ve got a beautifully classic wool toggle coat that can take your little one on less wild adventures. Perfect for letting your littlest lion play a roaring game of make believe on the way to school, this cozy keepsake will remain a playful and timeless hand me down for many new cubs to come.
