Dr. Clare Thompson

Dr Clare Thompson qualified from Imperial College School of Medicine in 2005 and went on to complete her Family Medicine Training in 2011. She is also board certified in Canada and holds the LMCC qualification. Additionally she spent time in New York during her residential training and lived in the USA for a year.
During her post graduate training she gained her Diploma in Child Health and Diploma of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecologists. In 2013 she worked for Night Doctor, which is a private Doctors visiting service, covering central London and The Portland Hospital. She became an Associate at The Courtfield Private Practice in South Kensington in 2014, which is led by Dr Tim Ladbrooke, voted by Tatler Magazine as London’s Best Private Family Doctor.
Dr Thompson’s main area of special interest is Paediatrics and her practice largely sees Mothers and Children. She has written regular features for MyBaba, Mother and Baby Magazine, Smallish Magazine and most recently the Huffington Post.
Outside of work she plays and performs Piano to a professional level. Dr Thompson is also a keen athlete and recently medaled for Great Britain in a 250 km foot race across the Atacama Desert in Chile. Her past races also include the 250 km self-supported Marathon des Sables across the Sahara Desert in Africa in 2014 and her next planned expedition will be across China in June 2016. She has been featured in the January 2016 issue of British Vogue talking about extreme sports and fitness.
